Istanbul’s traditionally informed clarinet virtuoso Cüneyt Sepetçi is on an intense trip into modern Turkish wedding and party music. After releasing two critically acclaimed albums on A Hawk and a Hacksaw's Living Music Duplication label and mashing up the place at Roskilde Festival 2014 with his Dolapdere Orchestra, the time was more than ripe for Cüneyt's first proper tour of Europe in November 2018: The clarinettist's played top venues as AB in Brussels or Alice in Copenhagen next to acclaimed festivals such as Le Guess Who? or Eastern Daze and killed it everywhere.

Needless to say that Sepetçi will return in 2019 accompanied only by percussionist and a master of the micro-tonal keyboard, an instrument without no wedding or circumcision party in Turkey is complete.
