In Church with Baby Dee

We are stoked to present the amazing songsmith and "transgender street legend" Baby Dee on 10.10.2016 for the first time in a church in Berlin as a part of Planet Rock's twentieth birthday celebrations.

Dee who has been a cantor and organist of a parish in the South Bronx prior to her sex change, returns to her old work place, the organ bench, to present an unique performance of a song cycle dedicated the American robin, "a species of red-breasted migratory songbird unrelated to its European namesake".

Don't miss this unique show!

Excursion On The (Senegalese) Version

Mark Ernestus' Ndagga Rhythm Force will present their brand-new album "Yermande" with a short string of shows in October, kicking off the tour with a gig in Berlin! Compared to the rootsy sound of the heavy "800 % Ndagga" / "Ndagga Versions" twin albums the new offering sounds more electronically processed, using dub effects to a great effect. More shows are planned for April 2017!
