let's get brutal, baby: KILLL is a norwegian all star project challenging the boundaries of musical and visual expression since coming together together in 2003. with abstract and chiselled metal presented in an epileptically evoking op-art scenography, they have been a much talked about live phenomenon. so far, they have refused presenting themselves in any format except the live concert. in september, however, they will release a CD and a DVD with live footage from the band's concerts in the period 2005 - 2009, presented in a lavishly designed 8-panel digipack including two posters - this is nothing less than a manifesto of a phenomenon!

KILLL consists of 5 members, all coming from some very diverse backgrounds: ARE MOKKELBOST is visual- and sound artist, his brother, producer and musician ERLEND MOKKELBOST used to be a crucial force in the deceased (may we say: legendary?) punk group JR EWING and now enjoys mainstream pop fame with his new outfit, MONTÈE; JAGA JAZZIST's drummer MARTIN HORNTVETH is one of the most-in-demand composers for film and TV soundtracks in his scandinavian country, while guitarist ESPEN HANGARD was / is a part of the critically acclaimed metal bands NO PLACE TO HIDE and ALTAAR. In addition, the band's light engineer KYRRE KARLSEN is regarded a full-scale member of the band.
