in the glorious nineties GABRIEL was the bass-player-to-call in the then still sunny city of NEW YORK. via BERLIN he came to SAN FRANCISCO, developing his very own definition of electronic "bass music" on the way, using such diverse and prolific people as jamaican reggae legend U-ROY and R.E.M.'s MICHAEL STIPE as vocalists.

the latest installment of DUB GABRIEL's music is the transcendental and transnational global dub of JAJOUKA SOUNDSYSTEM, featuring an international all star cast including THE MASTER MUSICIANS OF JAJOUKA's main man BACHIR ATTAR. JAJOUKA SOUNDSYSTEM's live premiere took place this summer at germany's leading world music festival in RUDOLSTADT (see picture above).

as a DJ and live act DUB GABRIEL is much in demand on the international club circuit dropping sets alongside other genre defying DJs and artists that include KODE 9, DJ CRAZE, BENGA, JAZZANOVA and SCIENTIST.
