Hailing from the small town of Pori, Finland's Circle have been called "The world's best band - all categories" by a big Swedish newspaper reviewing their show at Roskilde festival. We are stoked that they will finally return to Berlin after a hiatus of almost two years to represent "The New Wave Of Finnish Heavy Metal" again on Easter Sunday! We have been waiting for our heroes in spandex for too long!
Mark Ernestus' Ndagga Rhythm Force are celebrating their new album "Yermande" with a tour in April marking the Senegalese group's UK debut. Hitting the streets today via Düsseldorf's new TAL imprint: "On Mande Versions" with 4 Remixes of materials from Ogoya Nengo's massive last album. German producers / DJs Lena Willikens, Don't DJ, Toulouse Low Trax, and Orson develop a new take on the heavy roots of Kenyan Dodo music to hypnotic effect!
In church with Baby Dee: So excited about the "transgender street legend" playing an exclusive concert on the big pipe organ of Berlin's Taborkirche today! For the performer, a former cantor of a Puero Rican parish in the Bronx, this a long story coming full circle!
